Collectible eco-design
Long before sustainability became a central topic, we were already exploring sustainable practices. CLIPPE was born from our initiative to reuse cookware production scraps, giving life to our iconic stainless steel clips, now a piece of design history featured at the MoMA Store in New York.

Stainless steel is at the core of Ideale: hygienic, corrosion-resistant, durable and naturally suitable for food contact. It is a material largely derived from recycled sources and 100% recyclable at the end of its life without any loss of quality — a key element of production focused on environmental sustainability and long-term impact reduction. Choosing stainless steel is not only a technical decision but a cultural one: it means designing utensils made to last, reducing replacement and limiting waste. In line with this vision, packaging is also made entirely of recyclable cardboard, following a zero-plastic policy that extends environmental responsibility to the entire product lifecycle. Over time, Ideale’s expertise has incorporated complementary materials selected for reliability, hygiene and longevity of use, always in accordance with sustainability and functional consistency criteria.
Every traditional kitchen utensil is an archetype, a material expression of skilled gestures shaped by everyday life and passed down from generation to generation. The careful observation of these gestures and cooking habits has guided Ideale in developing stainless steel utensils that reinterpret tradition through advanced functional solutions, aligned with modern needs and environmental sustainability, including in the choice of product packaging. For Ideale, it has never been only about producing sturdy and long-lasting utensils, but about equipping these gestures with tools that enrich cooking, make it more efficient and restore to gathering around the table the warmth of the hearth.
Stainless steel is the heart of Olipac: hygienic, durable, naturally elegant, made up to 60% from recycled sources and 100% recyclable at the end of the product’s life. It is offered in classic finishes — mirror and satin, which preserve the natural color of stainless steel — as well as in innovative finishes such as white matt, black matt, copper, satin gold, rose gold, gunmetal and many others, achieved through advanced technological processes while fully respecting the functional and environmental sustainability characteristics of the finished product. Over time, Olipac’s expertise has also incorporated Verdetrusco glass, borosilicate glass, high-transparency acrylic and fine woods, selected for their longevity, hygiene and reliability in everyday use.
